About Carolina Shores, NC - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Carolina Shores, NC is a quaint small town on the coast of North Carolina.  It is near Myrtle Beach, SC, Wilmington, NC and Calabash, NC and actually split from Calabash to become its own municipality in 1998.  This town is a bit inland of Calabash and is actually not a shore town.  There is no beach area in this town so its name is actually a misnomer.  The weather in this area in seasonal so you can enjoy all 4 distinct seasons in this town and each one brings its own beauty and charm to the quaint village.

Carolina Shores is known for its quiet and peaceful atmosphere and is a great place for a family to raise children.  There is no beach here so the tourist crowds tend to stay away but it is still near the coast making it a great place to live and be able to enjoy the beach.  In the spring and summer there is much to do in the nearby tourist towns and in the winter the whole area tends to become much quieter.  However, year round, there is plenty to keep both tourists and residents busy and occupied.

If you are in the area you should certainly visit “The Seafood Capital of the World,” Calabash. In this small, quaint village you will find, as you would expect, many delicious seafood restaurants as well as golf courses, shops and more.  It is a quiet and peaceful tourist town for families and older adults looking for something a bit less hectic than Myrtle Beach or some of the other coastal towns in the area and is a great escape for any time of year.  In particular, it is a nice place to avoid the beach crowds in the warm weather months but it is also quite beautiful in the winter.

Nearby North Myrtle Beach, SC is less busy than Myrtle Beach but much more bustling than Carolina Shores or Calabash making it a great compromise for those that want some action without being overwhelmed by crowds. The shopping center, Barefoot Landing, is a hot spot at any time of year.  However, if you visit in the cooler months, it’s a must-see as it is a great way to keep warm and enjoy some relaxation and “retail therapy” as you duck in and out of shops and other retail spots. At this large outdoor mall, you will find a wide variety of stores, nightlife, restaurants and more.   There is a carousel for the kids and weekly fireworks in the warm, summer months. You can also find a tiger preservation center where you can pose with a tiger as well as an alligator adventure both of which will delight children of all ages.
