About Calabash, NC - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Calabash, NC is a coastal town with lots of beautiful views and seasonal weather that creates an ever changing landscape.  There is sunshine and heat in the summer and cold (and even snow) in the winter.  If you have never seen snow at the beach then you are in for a treat if you happen to be in this part of the world in December, as it does sometimes actually see White Christmases!

Known as the “Seafood Capital of the World,” Calabash lays in between Wilmington, NC and Myrtle Beach, SC and is, of course, a fishing town.   In this small, quaint village you will find, as you would expect, many delicious seafood restaurants as well as golf courses, shops and more.  It is a quiet and peaceful tourist attraction for families and older adults looking for something a bit low-key.  It is much less hectic than Myrtle Beach or some of the other coastal towns in the area and is a great escape for any time of year.  In particular, it is a nice place to avoid the beach crowds in the warm weather months.

This town is known for its slow pace and gorgeous scenery.  The small town feel is a part of its charm and what attracts visitors and residents. However, if you are looking for a bit more adventure, you can venture to nearby North Myrtle Beach, SC where you will find Barefoot Landing which is an outdoor shopping area with restaurants, retail, attractions and more.  Among them you will find a tiger rescue as well as an alligator adventure as well as a dock and pier.  There are more shops than can be named and many famous restaurants such as The House of Blues. It is an ideal way to pass the time on either a warm and sunny summer day or a colder Fall or Winter day and is sure to accommodate the whole family’s interests and appetites.

Of course, no stay at the coast would be complete without a day at the beach.  If you visit during the cooler months, bundle up and take a walk to enjoy the breezes and gorgeous scenery that Calabash has to offer. Watch the fishing boats and breathe in the salt air.  In the warmer months spend a lazy day (or two) in the sun and sea with family and friends.  Either way, this coastal town is gorgeous and will provide hours of fun finding seashells, building sandcastles or splashing in the tide.
